*Mixed Teams participants sign up for the workshops and perform at the Festival on the same day as the cast of the show.
LANDING
This is a show about hope, community spirit and world-building, with strong images and deeper themes. Katy Schutte's class will present a new long improvised format using their bodies, emotions and our innate connection as human beings. You'll feel something, learn something and wonder how the staging, the characters and the story are constituted in that moment.

About Katy Schutte:
Katy Schutte has performed and taught improvisation in twenty-some countries on five continents. She is head teacher and curriculum writer at Hoopla, the UK's largest improvisation school. She is the author of The Improviser's Way: A Longform Workbook, published by Nick Hern Books. She was one of The Maydays from 2004 to 2022. Winner of the Brighton Festival Fringe Best Comedy Show award. Katy was a resident artist with The Arctic Circle Project in 2022 and is currently writing a cosmic horror play for a three-week run at the Omnibus Theatre in 2024.
